My Students

As a teacher in a high poverty school, I strive to provide my students with meaningful learning experiences to help break the cycle of poverty. My students face adult-sized problems and are expected to show up and work when the world around them is in chaos.

My students are resilient and full of life.

With 72% of my students receiving free or reduced lunch, their resources outside of the classroom are limited. This does not stop my students from being ambitious in their life goals.

My Project

These digital resources will provide opportunities for students to gain a deeper understanding of concepts. Through the pandemic, I have seen a greater need for interactive digital resources for student learning. Unfortunately, many of the resources with high-quality content require costly subscriptions. My students are young and have a difficult time engaging through online learning. I have been searching for material that is engaging and challenging to meet their needs.

With these subscriptions, my students will have access to higher quality content to challenge them.

These digital materials provide engaging content that I would not otherwise be able to provide for them.
