Digital Tech for Future Digital Media Superstars!

Help me give my students the H1N digital voice recorders to create podcasts and record audio; we have some but not enough. Also the VR headset will allow them to begin to create for Virtual Reality.

My Students

The students that I teach are those that have a passion for technology and the ever-growing world of digital media. These students will be the innovators and content creators of the future - from sports broadcasting to social media content creation and managers to digital artists and beyond; they are students who the world will know sooner rather than later.

Although these students have a drive and passion for digital media the tools available to them to teach them the necessary skills are a little lacking here at our small charter high school.

With your help we can continue to get them professional, industry standard equipment so they can more straight into a job or go freelance and begin their future digital media career.

My Project

Currently my digital media students have a handful of digital voice recorders but not enough for a full class. In the past I have had students get into groups of 3 or 4 to share the digital voice recorders and create podcasts together. Acquiring more through this campaign and others will ensure students can properly social distance and minimize risk while still engaging in these fun projects. The VR headset will also help me create new curriculum and content to further show students the future pathways that digital media content creation can take them.

The future is digital and with my students it is looking incredibly bright!
