Our students come from a diverse learning background in our district's magnet high school for math, science, and technology. All of our students are state mandated to take Biology I, which allows our students to discover the world of cells, ecology, and other concepts.
Our students are eager to learn and many of them will go on to pursue studies in fields of science.
Our students work hard and are inquisitive. We want our students to have as many experiences as possible in order to foster their love for learning!
My Project
It is very easy to describe to students things that they cannot see; however, seeing is definitely believing, especially in Science! These digital microscopes will allow our students to see objects that cannot be seen with the naked eye, up to 250 times magnification! Not only will they be able to see the objects, they will be able to take pictures and videos using their district-issued MacBooks.
These digital microscopes are not limited to use in just Biology, but other Science classes such as Physical Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Robotics, and Engineering.
What better way for students to experience Science than by making and recording those observations. These experiences can literally last a lifetime with the recording and photographing capabilities of these microscopes!
