My Students
I am living the dream of teaching fifth graders in my hometown! Serving alongside my former teachers is the coolest experience! I serve a diverse group of kids who have many different interests and unique learning styles. This year, I will be taking on the challenge of teaching my fifth-grade students virtually! I'm excited to take my students on a worldwide adventure as we dive into curriculum in a new and exciting way.
My virtual classroom will provide opportunities for my students that cannot be offered in a normal classroom setting.
I am bringing education into the twenty-first century and cannot wait to get started! My hope is to empower students with the life skills necessary to navigate these uncharted waters and bring them hope! This is my hope and my mission for each generation that walks into my classroom.
My Project
The Digital Divas project is designed to provide my fifth-grade students with digital resources to make their at-home learning experience more meaningful. Access to materials on Teachers Pay Teachers will benefit more than 75 students both at home and at school. I am a 5th grade Language Arts teacher and have students who are in both virtual and potentially hybrid this next year.
The resources connect to our state standards and offer both digital and printable components that will elevate students learning no matter where my students are.
The material that I would be able to purchase would make an amazing connection to my curriculum. It also helps to link the relationship between my students learning in person and my students learning from home. We will be able to use these resources as many times as we would like. These resources will help to make learning fun, keep students engaged, and connect with my curriculum throughout the year.
