My Students

At my school, there are over 1,300 students enrolled. Our school celebrates diversity, where 63% of our students are Caucasian, 27% are African-American, 7% are Hispanic and 1.2% are American Indian or Asian/Pacific Islander. Most of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Many of my students do not have access to technology or Internet at home.

Our middle school is located close to the Navy and Air Force base in South Carolina.

Many of the students I teach have parents who are active military members. We are proud to serve so many military families in our community.

My Project

My middle school artists are begging to work on digital art, but our current stylus pens are broken!

We need new stylus pens to work on our next engaging digital art project.

Please consider supporting my students and their newfound interest in digital arts.

The skills we are learning can be applied to many computer programs in the future! We publish our artwork online, so we cannot wait to share our new digital creations with the entire Summerville community. We appreciate your support of student artists and our middle school art program.
