Digging Deeper into Reading with Holes

My Students

My students are full of potential and ready to learn.

We have created a classroom environment where students learn to agree and disagree politely, respect themselves and others and understand that we all have different areas of strengths and weakness.

We focus on each child's individual needs so they can grow and be a lover of learning.

Being apart of a title one community, my students face problems most kids should not. Showing them how hard work and perseverance can change a person's life pushes them to see all the possibilities they can achieve.

My Project

My students LOVE reading! They enjoy making connections to the characters and applying skills they learned in class. My smart 4th graders are eager to read new books. Having a class set of Holes will allow them to follow along and read it as a class.

Holes teaches students that hard work and good choices can make a huge difference in your life.

Help me show them that changing your ways can change your life. Reading this book as a class will help to build a classroom community that welcomes change. I'm so excited to watch my students continue their love of reading.
