This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach high school students and one of my goals is to help them feel welcomed and motivated to come to my class everyday. I have tried several things which have helped including a visually motivating place. On this grants I'm requesting essential oils as well as a waterless essential oil diffuser because they will not only make the classroom smell good but it also help reduced the stress level of the students. Additionally, I am requesting a small quiet fan for the classroom because year after year the AC unit at my school breaks down and the classroom gets really got that it makes it difficult for the students to concentrate in the hot classroom.
