Differentiation Leads to Success!

Help me give my students headphones and a printer with extra toner for access to differentiated materials to improve their literacy skills.

My Students

Our students are energetic, eager to learn, and creative beyond measure. They are a combination of English Language learners and native English Speakers.

Our students reflect a range of socioeconomic status backgrounds, and many don't have easy access to books or technology resources with which to read and continue their learning at home.

Our school community works hard to mitigate the impact that life stressors have on our students' learning. These stressors, however, have been compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many students are absent frequently due to quarantine periods whenever anyone in the household is ill. In addition, our students have a wide range of learning needs. All of these add up to a greater need for differentiated materials for each lesson.

My Project

Our students will be able to access content in understandable ways when we are able to provide them with supports tailored to their needs. In addition, students who do not have access to technology at home will benefit from printed materials when they are quarantined.

In-class time lost due to the pandemic has greatly increased the need for differentiated materials.

Along with the printed materials, headphones for every student will continue their access to meaningful digital content that is also tailored to meet their needs.

These materials will greatly increase our ability to give each student the individualized support they need to succeed, even in the midst of the pandemic.
