Differentiated Work Stations

My Students

For the 2021-22 school year, I was given the opportunity to travel from California to Texas in order to serve as a fourth grade reading teacher in Houston.

Fourth graders tend to be curious, hardworking , and expressive.

The drive, the knowledge, and the humor of my fourth graders will inspire me to not only be a better professional, but a better individual. I do what I do, for their now AND their future.

I feel so blessed to not only be able to support and create this project for my fourth graders but to also support our Fifth graders in growing academically in a fun and creative way!

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting will aid my students in making great gains academically and will hopefully achieve in closing the achievement gap or come close to it. The math and reading games and the workbooks will allow my students to practice the skills taught independently and in pairs as they are in their work stations. The buzzards will add a fun touch to our test review days and the plastic toys will make Readers Theater come to life! To top it all off, students will receive stamps on their work to show their success and receive Super Star stickers as reinforcers of their success. We can only go up from here!
