My Project

“Different Needs, Same Big Dreams” perfectly describes my students. They are bright, curious, and eager to learn, and each one has unique needs that shape how they learn and succeed. Some need movement, quiet, visual reminders, or extra time to feel ready to participate.

When my students have the right supports, they can spend less energy managing overwhelm and more energy learning.

The sensory chair, calming tent, fidgets, and noise-reducing headphones will give them safe ways to regulate and refocus. Visual schedules and first-then boards will make routines and expectations easier to understand. Social skills games and picture cards will strengthen communication and emotional regulation, while the ten-frame activities, adaptive writing paper, and digital resources will provide more accessible ways to practice math and writing.

My goal is to create a classroom that responds to my students’ needs while still challenging them to grow. Their learning may look different, but their potential and dreams are just as big.
