My Project

Many students are constantly challenged with the idea of sitting still during instruction. My students are eager learners who have different needs when it comes to learning. Some of which need resources to help them focus and bring back their attention to the correct place.

My goal is to provide calming needs to students to better help them function inside the classroom.

By incorporating weighted lap pads students will be stimulated in a way that calms them and allows them to bring their focus to where it is needed. Other resources that will be beneficial in this are sensory toys and resources. Students can use these sensory toys and resources to calm down. Providing students with these additional resources allow an inclusive classroom that is inviting of all learning needs.
