My students are a kind, engaged, curious group of learners. The classroom is a mild special day class comprised of third and fourth graders.
My students love to work together and thrive when given opportunities for research, collaboration, and problem solving.
Each child enters the room every day ready to learn, curious, and engaged. I am consistently impressed with how the students support each other academically and socially, despite their different abilities.
Though my students are awesome learners, at times struggle with writing. Giving them the tools to use speech to text options will help them learn.
As the teacher of a mild special day class with both third and fourth grade, I have a gigantic task in creating engaging, rigorous lessons for my students.
Giving each student access to a headset allows for current and dynamic writing.
A huge part of modern learning involves projects and collaboration. With individual headsets with microphones, students can research, synthesize data, build web pages and create interactive, media-driven presentations that will give them lifelong skills.
In addition, students will also have access to online learning and supplementary curriculum, virtual field trips, online science labs, academic gameplay, and keyboarding/ technology skills. Please give my students the tools they need to be 21st Century Learners.
