Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 4th grade students are energetic and hard working. They love to learn and interact with their environment, using a hands-on approach to learning. This group of students comes from a wide variety of backgrounds ethnically, culturally and financially. The majority of our students are bilingual. This year being online so far we have 2 classes combined so there are many more students with all different abilities.

Over 80% of the students in our school receive free and reduced-price lunch and are from low economic backgrounds.

I strive to give them opportunities they might not otherwise experience.

Fourth grade can be a real turning point for learning and developing for many children. They are still "little kids," but they are growing up fast, so it is important to keep them excited and interested in learning.

My Project

As we head into the 2nd quarter of this school year we are ready to do some re-stocking of some of our hygiene supplies. Dial soap will be great for kids to take to the bathroom as Tik-Toc made most of our soap dispensers disappear.

You can never have too many cleaning products in an elementary school classroom!

Clorox wipes and paper towels are a must! We are also working on staying safe while continuing out recycling program and the gloves and fresh bags will be great to help out with that.
