My Students

These students come from a variety of backgrounds all contributing to a class dynamic that is conducive to experiential learning. We are in NW Arkansas, home of Walmart, Tyson Foods, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Our district is experiencing rapid growth as the area develops.

Our classes consist of 8th graders with a wide variety of math skills and experiences.

We focus on real-life, relevant learning experiences that address the standards in dynamic yet rigorous ways. Many of our learners are better served through hands-on, exploratory scenarios.

My Project

VersaTile provides immediate feedback and constant reinforcement of learned concepts and new concepts in a fun and engaging way. The students use the patterns to self-check and correct their own thinking as they progress.

VersaTiles enhance creative thinking and problem solving while maintaining student focus in a tactile, concrete way.

It is an automatically scored process and teaches individual accountability in the delivery of the content.

We will use the VersaTile sets in stations during regular instruction and in LAB and have them available to students to practice content during our advisory period. All students will be able to engage with the product.
