My students were so excited when the boxes and arrived and we were able to unpack them. They were honestly at little impatient because we had to wait a few days to open them due to production week. \r\nWe have already started putting the items to good use making props and set pieces for forensics tournaments. Over the next few weeks, we will really be getting into the sewing and costume construction for our upcoming production of Matilda Jr. and utilizing the sewing materials. My advanced theatre class is getting to help with a lot of the costumes for Mrs. Wormwood and the dress forms are going to be so helpful.\r\nIn addition to the immediate uses for our productions, I am also so excited for students to be learning skills that they can use in the future both in and out of a theatre setting.
