Developing Digital Learners

Help me give my students technology to help them be successful with digital learning.

My Students

Our 4th graders are a diverse group of learners. They are embracing the digital life brought forth by the pandemic. I teach Science and Social Studies to the entire grade level. We are learning more about the world around us.

My Project

In this project, I am requesting digital tools to assist student's with learning on a digital platform. Students access their learning through zoom and the district's learning management system.

Digital learning is not the future, it is now!

The document camera will allow students to see written information that I am presenting. The students will be able to see the sketches and diagrams that I am drawing for Social Studies and Science.

The drawing tablet allows me to move around the room while writing on digital documents for the students to access that information. I can mark up digital notes and worksheets.

As I move around the I find that I have to raise and strain my voice. The microphone will help me to keep my voice level while still delivering instruction.
