My Students

My classroom consists of 10 students preschoolers from diverse backgrounds in a full-day Head Start program, some of whom are English language learners or have high sensory needs. They are bright, energetic, and adorable little ones. They enjoy constructing and experimenting with a variety of materials. Their young minds are energized and eager to learn. Our school helps students build the foundations needed for literacy, math, science, arts, and social skills through active learning and individual needs.

My Project

The preschool classroom is divided into learning centers. Within each learning center, children can explore the materials available to them and reinforce skills previously learned. The materials listed in my project will be placed in our science and block area to enhance children's learning experiences. To provide these 10 little bright children with the most engaging, thought-provoking, and hands-on activities would help to grow their minds and their love of learning! Your generous donation will give my students the opportunity to build math, language, and science skills. At the same time, they will use the materials in ways that will increase their vocabulary and invite children to build, explore and engineer again and again!
