My students need two Chromebooks to use during reading class daily.

Every school morning we start our day off with a bell ringer on fluency to help my students read more fluently. I have a classroom that has mostly English Language Learners who are struggling to learn the language of English. The students are eager to learn and need more technology in our classroom. Having more technology can help my students in a technology driven environment. The purpose of this is to make sure that the students have the best opportunity possible. I am passionate about helping them get to the next level.
After Hurricane Maria, we gained a lot of students who were displaced from the natural disaster. We lost a lot of technology in our school. The purpose of this project is to allow my new students to have access to 21st-century technology in and outside of the classroom. My new students are new to the country and they need to learn a new language. We use a program that is online and the students need technology to access the program that helps them learn English. My students will use these devices to prepare their writing essay prompts. The students are expected to take a test online this year where they have to type their responses. We are limited to technology after Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria. Even though we have tried to refurbish our lab, it is now evident that we need to have enough devices for each students.
My students need to be exposed to more technology in order to be successful in their grade level test.
This will allow my students to gain knowledge on subjects that aren't discussed in our classroom-based text. My students need to be exposed to more critical thinking texts to build their skills. They need to be exposed to typing so that they are prepared for the work field. My student share a keen interest for many different things that are restricted due to the limited text that we use in class. These materials will allow them to be exposed to more complex subjects, and in turn be able to be ready for their future careers.
