This is my second year teaching 4th grade(in a classroom, and not online). I came back after one year teaching online to a classroom printer with a printer that doesn't work the way it used to. I was able to fully fund for a new printer and one cartridge. I would love to be able to have just one extra in case the other runs out before the school year. Because I use interactive notebooks where students cut and paste items, sometimes I use my printer to use graphic organizers, coloring pages, notes, and/or worksheets that I send to the office for copies. I would love to be able to get more toner as a backup as the school does not compensate teachers for purchasing their own toner.
The students will benefit from being able to get any makeup work.
The students will benefit from getting a clearly scanned document that has been self-created or edited and then printed on the internet.
Toner is always an issue as they typically cost over $100 each. Sometimes I go through two of them in one school year. I would like to get one extra toner in case I run out for the year. I use my printer for graphic organizers, charts, tables, makeup work, my notes on the computer, blackline coloring pages with maps or diagrams, etc. I would love to be able to fund for one toner cartridge so that I don't have to worry about being limited in my usage of learning aides. Please help.
