This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

If you can dream it, you can achieve it! This famous quote by Walt Disney is what my exemplary students believe in. It has been a challenge providing my students with all the materials they need in class when our budget for classroom supplies this year was $0.

My students are a motivated group of 31 fourth graders who go above and beyond everyday in school to reach their academic goals.

Our school is a Title I school. More than 70% of our population is on free or reduced lunch. Many of my students come from low-income homes, but that does not stop them from putting education as a top priority.

My Project

My students will be able to use their whiteboards again for responding to questions if they have new dry erase markers. They will also be able to organize all their work using the color coded folders, index cards, paper, and sheet protectors. I have not been able to purchase new crayons for my students in years and new crayons will open the door to creativity for all my students.

Organization is a life-long skills that will follow my students' throughout their education.

Many of the items will help to organize their desks. Students are less stressed when they have an organized work area. Every single one of the items I have asked for will benefit my students daily.
