My students are 8th graders that embrace any challenge that may come their way. They do not give up, they do not quit, they are our future! I'm so proud of the young adults they are becoming.
Our school is located in a high poverty area, but that does not deter these students from obtaining a quality education.
We have support from a community which genuinely wants these students to become successful lifelong learners.
There is nothing that these junior high students cannot achieve!
My Project
These students are hard-working kids that deserve a place that they can go to and relax during the school day. With the stress of all that is upon us right now, my students keep referring back to our "comfortable, relaxing, stress-free" zone. Our students are dealing with much more than just schoolwork, and coming to a place that can help them relax while they work, is the atmosphere I am trying to create. The students that I will have next year are even reaching out telling me how they wish they could be in our room right now!
