My Project

Creating a calm and supportive space is so important. Adding tennis balls to the bottoms of desks and chairs will help reduce the loud scraping noises that can be distracting and disruptive. This simple change will make our classroom quieter and help students stay engaged during lessons and independent work.

Sensory headphones will be especially helpful for students who are sensitive to noise or become easily overstimulated.

Having access to headphones will give them a way to self regulate, block out excess noise, and refocus without feeling overwhelmed. This allows them to stay in the classroom, participate in learning, and feel more confident.
