Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My second graders are energetic and full of curiosity with an eagerness to learn. My classroom and school provide a safe learning environment that is helping students integrate technology in effective ways that target different learning styles. My class reflects boys and girls in a dual language program, gifted and talented, as well as special education and Title I. Each student has the opportunity to use educational technology to create and embraced the use of many educational apps that enhance our curriculum and provide an avenue for problem solving and creativity. Almost everything they do is connected to technology.
My Project
These tools will be an awesome addition to our class maker space. It will allow for my students to create labels, messages, titles for projects, decorations, motivational banners, and other designs for our math and science centers. It will also help develop problem-solving, technical skills and attention to detail by engaging their minds in the process of their designs.
The creativity in their projects will come alive in the classroom space by allowing organization, personalization, and fun all while integrating math, science and literacy skills.
Learning by design is the ultimate goal in my classroom.
