Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school uses PBIS to reward students for their positive behavior in school when they Show safety, Work Responsibly, Include others, and Make positive progress (SWIM). Students earn tickets when showing SWIM and spend them on snacks and fidgets in our school store. Who doesn't love a school store?

DES is a Title I school which means we teach underserved populations of low-income families.

Our families deserve the world (or fun toys?) and this is one small way we can bring joy to them.
