My Students

The students I get to work with every day are artistic, creative, eager learners. In fact, I have never had a group of students who were so naturally artistically inclined!

My students love projects, especially those that are enhanced by their unique artwork!

I teach at a school located in a rural community in Wyoming. My goal is to give them a space with materials to express their individuality with a variety of art supplies at their fingertips.

My Project

With clay, modeling tools, and painting supplies, students will be able to create elaborate dioramas of their home state! They will explore and replicate mountain ranges, rivers, deserts, parks, as well as state and national monuments.

With the use of modeling clay, acrylics, and brushes, they will be able to take their artistic skills to the next level!

Wyoming is full of unique, diverse landscapes such as the Teton Mountain Range, Yellowstone National Park, the Red Desert, and Devils Tower National Monument, to name a few. My dream is to give my fourth graders the opportunity to learn about all the places their state has to offer through research and creating beautiful scenes to depict their state.
