Decor Team to the Rescue: Creating a Welcoming Space

My Project
Raising a child with a disability is full of challenges you could never anticipate. Luckily, the city funds a certain amount of parent training and services. We have been lucky enough to receive grants for some parent events and foot the bill for those we want.
Our class is working hard to turn our gym into a community space for our families, parents, and providers.
We have been learning how to decorate the school and are now turning our attention to the family event spaces. The tricky part is that each event is decorated and then turned back for school use. Transforming our gym into a mini welcoming community center is no small feat and the supplies included here will help us do that without teachers footing the bill.
Help us by giving us the tools we need to best help the extended members of our school community. The tapes, command hooks, mounting tape, fishing line, etc. are all consumable supplies that we use whenever we get ready for a family and community event. The little toys and treats are a nice way to welcome any kiddos that come with their families and have a little giveaway. The step ladder is so we can stop climbing on desks to get this done.
Our class is so excited to be the ones that help our school and parent community in this way, but we need your help!
