My Project

By funding these decodable books, you will be supporting hard working readers as they learn the phonics patterns in high interest books. These series allows for upper elementary students to feel like they are reading books that are not too "babyish" but also hitting on the skills they are working toward mastering. Thank you for supporting struggling readers build their confidence and feel successful! This grant will focus on the CSDE ESSER priorities of Learning Acceleration, Academic Renewal in the phonics domain. CT new legislation Right to Read focuses on building students' foundational reading skills in the area of phonics.
