Now, let's take it a step further and be compassionate, inclusive and celebrate our identity. Literature, picture books, and factual knowledge of history will help my colleagues and students better grasp the experiences of people all around us. Together we can all do a little more to fight for justice, equality and inclusion in our communities. What better place to start than the classroom!
