Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students in the resource room need decodable books. Our library does not have decodable books.

The DOG ON A LOG decodable books will help all my students apply their decoding skills.

The students will be able to read books within their phonics level. When a student can read a book by being able to read 90% of the words, they will feel successful.

In addition, the students will enjoy reading these decodable books, which will hopefully inspire them with the desire to read more books. When they read more books, they will expand their phonics skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
