My Students

The students in my class are a bright bunch who really look forward to learning about art, science, math and language arts.

Our school in Richmond, California, is considered high poverty and has a diverse student population.

In fact, our school is one of the most ethnically diverse schools in the Bay Area.

My Project

I would like to get a bundle of printable, decodable books at Teachers Pay Teachers that I can print and send home. I recently had some students tell me that they didn't have any books at home and I want to change that situation.

I want to make sure that each student in my class has leveled books to read in class and at home.

The books I am interested in have unique story lines and fun illustrations. They also go hand in hand with the phonics lessons that we are learning in class.
