My Project

For this project, I am asking for materials to help bring a hands-on financial literacy moment to my class. We are going to bring a Decimal Diner into the classroom. Students will get to learn how much change they should get back when buying something. How much something would cost if you're splitting the bill with someone else.

My students will get a hands-on learning experience when they utilize the check papers to figure out our math problems.

The tablecloths, napkins, plates, and cups will be used at their tables. I am asking for the play money for students to learn to count their money out, and the register to teach them where the money goes in the register.
