Dash-Ing Into Robotics

My Students

My students have been identified as gifted, which means they have special talents and intellectual abilities. My students soar into learning by participating in weekly challenges and logic reasoning opportunities. These students excel in the classroom and are provided with enrichment and engaging activities that enhance their 21st Century Skills.

My gifted students enjoy hands-on learning activities that inspire them to become future engineers, artists, computer scientists and more.

These bright young minds are encouraged to excel outside the classroom by reaching their fullest potential.

My Project

I am requesting a Wonder Workshop Dash Robot and an iPad for my students. We need these supplies to help reach our gifted outcomes. Critical thinking will be used to program the robots and for problem-solving. Creativity will be used when my students create their own obstacles and create their own program. Computer science is the key to the future!

These supplies would also help with my students' communication skills.

Students will have to collaborate to complete a series of challenges. They will have the opportunity to experience success when the challenges are completed. As of now, we only have one way of controlling one out of the two robots we have in our classroom. Another device would help us to be able to use more than one robot at once.
