We are in the New York City Borough of Queens. We enjoy the reputation of being one of the most diverse areas in the nation, and the multicultural nature of our school community has been a powerful contributor to learning and understanding.

In addition to our wonderful students, we have parents who openly support and appreciate the Arts. They especially adore ballroom dance as a means of artistic expression.
My Project
Dancing Classrooms will send a teaching artist for our students to learn the foxtrot, the merengue, rumba, tango, waltz, and the swing. This program will cultivate essential life skills through the practice of ballroom dance. It will transform girls and boys into mature, self-reliant, and elegant individuals during its 10 week residency. Their core values emphasize civility, respect, team work, and self-discipline. At the end of the sessions, we will have a wonderful culminating event where students will showcase what they have learned. A truly, beautiful and moving experience for the students and the entire school community. Please support us!
