My Students

I work at the best middle school. Our students have school pride that is contagious. We are a school family like no other. Our school is located in an inner-city neighborhood surrounded by low-income housing.

We are a school that is academically and culturally diverse.

We pride ourselves on helping students from all parts of the academic spectrum. It is our goal to let every student know and feel they are wanted, welcomed, and needed at our school every day.

My Project

Our school dance club offers a unique and fun experience for our kids who participate. We have the opportunity to give our students experiences from places they have never been to. Our dance club was started to teach kids about the history of dance and to stay healthy by dancing. Students have the opportunity to learn Flamenco, African, Latin dances such as the Cha Cha Cha, and the traditional American Dances. We need dance shoes to complete our practice and dance attire. Our dance team will have the opportunity to perform at different events in the school. Your help will take us to another part of the world as we learn about the history and roots of the dance. If you want to get a good work out in and increase your cardio, then just get up and start dancing to the music.
