Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a first year Dance teacher here in Miami, FL. My goal is to help aid my students in the art of dance by supplying them with a safe and fun experience. I strongly believe that all of the items I am soliciting for my students will help keep the room tidy and benefit their overall dance growth. I am trying to maximize our dance space by utilizing the shoe cubbies and seating as a multifunctional asset to the room.

Currently, our speaker was borrowed.

Which means it is outdated, old, and on its last leg; literally. We all know that music is a dancer best friend. So, a new and working speaker will impact the way we dance, here sound, and emote to choreography. In addition, the Ballet barre and dance blocks will aid the students with basic foundational training and conditioning. As the bins will be kept for costume storage and organization as our inventory grows.

Thank you so much in advance for your heart to be willing to serve my students and I in this manner. I don't have much but I am willing to build this program up in the best way possible.
