it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My dance students need some essential self-care items during this class. As students sweat in this class, they need water and toiletries to freshen up for the rest of their day. This is not technically a physical education class, so we do not have access to locker rooms and we also do not have very clean drinking water available.
My students need items such as deodorant, wipes, and water bottles in order to freshen up after a 90-minute dance class.
My students are in a low-income working-class community, and many students in our district are unhoused. These essential items are crucial for my students to remain clean, healthy, and hydrated.
