My Project

What I love most about my fourth graders is their energy, curiosity, and willingness to learn together. They are a fun, enthusiastic group of students who thrive when they are actively engaged and given opportunities to collaborate. They enjoy sharing ideas, working through challenges with peers, and learning by doing rather than sitting passively. Their daily collaboration shows a strong desire to communicate their thinking and learn from one another.

The requested resources will directly support the way my students learn best.

Expo markers and chart paper will allow students to work together during collaborative problem-solving activities, such as Vertical Spaces, where they can visually represent their thinking, revise ideas, and explain strategies to peers. These tools encourage risk-taking and active participation, which aligns with their energetic learning style. Notebooks will give students a personal space to organize their thinking, reflect on strategies, and practice explaining their reasoning in writing, helping to strengthen both understanding and confidence.

Together, these resources will help create an interactive and student-centered learning environment where my fourth graders can continue to collaborate, think critically, and grow as confident learners.
