This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Welcome to our 4th grade classroom. We are so happy to be in a classroom that is moved by love, respect, and the thrive for learning!

As the school year progresses, our students begin to run out of school supplies.

I try my best but cannot always provide for everyone the essential and basic supplies, like dry erase markers, needed for daily classroom use.

The following items are listed as essential because they are used daily. Pencils are always a must in class and are easy to run out as we use them for all of our subjects. As we are learning to read, we work all year long to surpass our goals, highlighters are essential to help us decode words and highlight important information to check for comprehension. Colored paper and laminating sheets are for students to use for their projects, I help them laminate important work and projects to take home in an end of the year portfolio. Students use their dry erase boards and markers to work out mathematical problems. These are used when we are studying and getting ready for our end of the unit test. Students also use their white boards to help decode and spell words when they are writing their essays during our writing class.
