My Project

Thank you for looking at this Stem-focused Cyber Security Project. This project leverages security camera hardware to teach students essential STEM skills by exploring the inner workings, setup, and data management of surveillance systems. Through hands-on experience with camera components, students gain insights into electrical engineering and optics by understanding lenses, sensors, and circuit boards. Setting up cameras introduces networking principles, teaching students about IP addresses, protocols, and secure connections, fostering cybersecurity awareness. Additionally, students can analyze real-time data, enabling them to develop skills in data science, programming, and algorithm development. This project combines hardware understanding with software applications, offering a comprehensive approach to STEM education that’s rooted in real-world technology. These concepts have been simulated but will make the jump from theoretical to practical learning!
