This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our kids are very bright, young, and full of energy. They are fast, intuitive, and want the technology to move as fast as them!

Our kids are motivated and focused.

Brimming with strong vocabulary, and writing talent. They have a strong understanding of technology and also a strong expectation of it.

Many of our kids are talented writers, future technology professionals. Motivated and eager to learn! Experienced typists, ready for many different fields and trades.

My Project

This will make a huge difference! A tremendous amount of time and energy is spent printing for class assignments. Especially as kids are growing and learning, their needs for writing and technology increase.

As the on-site Technology Support Specialist, our school pays for me to be here on Tuesday and Thursday.

I do my best to keep this 15 year old printer running, and we will most likely donate it to a teacher if we can get this funded afterwards. So this will benefit the library as well as one of our teachers! Resourcefulness is the key to this project!

Having a reliable machine without too much intervention would make a tremendous impact in student learning outcomes.
