Cutting Edge 3D Printing - DLP Printing

Help me give my students a cutting edge technological experience learning how to use a resin 3D printer.

My Students

Every day, my students are learning more and more about how computers, software, and technology work. I want them to know why these tools are important and how to use them in everyday life.

When my students leave high school, they will be prepared for the real world.

My students are 11th and 12th graders who are taking Business Computer Applications. In this course, they learn how to use programs such as PowerPoint and Excel. They have been successful and many have even earned multiple Microsoft Specialist Certifications. Because they are having such success with our course curriculum, I wanted to challenge them with a new learning experience. My students also run Panther Printing - a school-based business. They have created projects to display on campus and will sell items to our school population. Our goal over the next few years is to purchase new equipment and supplies in order to learn new skills and grow Panther Printing. Please help my students make our venture succeed.

My Project

In my classroom, 3D printing is the future of learning and instruction. My students are currently using traditional 3D printers and PLA filament, but I want to take their skills to the next level.

As trends shift in 3D printing, I want my students to stay on the cutting edge of production using 3D resin printers.

Resin printers produce high quality designs using digital light and photo-reactive polymers. Most of the 3D printing world is shifting to the use of resin printing and I want my students to grasp those cutting edge skills.

Please help me introduce my students to the new skill of 3D printing with resin printers!
