My students are 11th and 12th graders who are taking Business Computer Applications. In this course, they learn how to use programs such as PowerPoint and Excel. They have been successful and many have even earned multiple Microsoft Specialist Certifications! Because they are having such success with our course curriculum, I wanted to challenge them with a new learning experience. I was able to purchase a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine through a local PTA mini-grant. My students installed the machine and are now learning to operate it! Their eyes are opening to all of the creative possibilities for creations that come with this machine! One MAJOR DRAWBACK to this awesome learning experience is not creating projects, but purchasing SUPPLIES! Please help my students get the vinyl and card stock they need to work with the Silhouette.
