My Project

My students will use the Scholastic News to read and write about current events.

Students will read content rich Scholastic News on paper and digitally to learn about what is going on around our world that is relevant to them.

They will use the color photographs, videos, diagrams, and detailed captions about science, inspirational people, sports, opinions and current events. Students will be provided informational text that is engaging and motivational to read. Students will read and write about informational text using relevant topics.

The goal of this project is to improve literacy skills by promoting the joy of reading and writing.
