This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help me give my students educational magazine subscriptions so they can stay up to date with current events. With these easily digestible magazines, we will also be able to practice our reading comprehension skills while reading about engaging, relevant topics.

I teach a substantially separate classroom for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a low income area.

My students are hardworking, bright children who are very interested in the world around them!

With these magazine subscriptions, my class will be able to keep up to date with current events as well as practice reading comprehension! It is so important for children to be educated about what is happening in the world around them and to understand how these events can effect their lives.
