Help me give my students the opportunity to read the book "The Sign of the Beaver". This story goes perfectly with our November curriculum and I know the students will love reading it as a class!

My Students

I have a class of 20 amazing 4th grade students who love learning and coming to school. My students are energetic learners and absolutely love reading and math! My 4th graders love any opportunity to read and will get hooked on a book so much during read aloud time that they are begging me not to put it down! The passion my students have for helping each other learn and grow truly inspires me every day. I feel so lucky to come to work each day and teach these wonderful kids.

My Project

These books will continue to enhance the text-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them, we read together in reading group, and they read independently! These books will be used for a whole group reading project that goes perfectly with our November curriculum.

With the book 'Sign of The Beaver', students will get a deeper understanding of our immigration unit and be able to immerse themselves in a story that will give them a rich understanding of the struggles and triumphs early immigrants went through.

My students are so excited to read this book, and this project will be the highlight of their 4th grade year!
