These books will continue to enhance the text-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them, we read together in reading group, and they read independently! These books will be used for a whole group reading project that goes perfectly with our November curriculum. With the book 'Sign of The Beaver', students will get a deeper understanding of our immigration unit and be able to immerse themselves in a story that will give them a rich understanding of the struggles and triumphs early immigrants went through. My students are so excited to read this book, and this project will be the highlight of their 4th grade year!
