Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting graphic novels in Spanish; they include high-interest books that students have asked for. Many of my students have just moved to the United States and are learning English. I want them to keep their love for reading by providing them with books they can read during breaks or to take home and read.

Staying excited about reading takes books!

As the classroom teacher, I want to provide students access to diverse and engaging books that include books in their home language to keep them engaged and excited about reading and learning.
