Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's essential to teach students to understand their feelings with vivid charts to help them identify and manage their emotions. The feelings chart will engage students with ADHD and Autism in calm-down activities.

Arts and crafts such as mosaic art allow artistic expression, leading to greater self-awareness.

Using glue in arts and crafts, the students can use magazines to cut out affirmation phrases and attach them to the Jenga game. Additionally, the memory matching game will teach necessary skills to reduce stress and anxiety; therefore, all the materials in this project will improve my student's emotional well-being and resilience.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
