My Project

Within my classroom of 6th graders, there is a wide range of interest, but the one thing they have in common is their relationships with one another. The thrive on being about to work together a learn from, not just me, but from their peers.

Through the items in my project, such as the rug, cushions, and magnetic tiles, my students will be able to cultivate learning, knowledge, and social interaction in a way that was not possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The students have the opportunities to work closely and one-on-one with each other to create bonds and understanding of one another.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
