Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
At our school, we're dedicated to nurturing the holistic development of our students. We're excited to introduce into our current afterschool clubs a focus on mindfulness and yoga for our students. We aim to provide them with tools and techniques to navigate life's challenges with resilience and inner peace.
We believe that cultivating mindfulness can empower our students to manage stress, regulate emotions, and enhance focus and concentration.
Through yoga practice, we aim to promote physical health, flexibility, and coordination among our students.
Our afterschool club will provide a supportive and inclusive environment where students of any age can explore mindfulness and yoga at their own pace.
We're seeking your support to equip our afterschool club with essential materials, including yoga mats and mindfulness materials. Quality yoga mats will ensure the comfort and safety of our students during their practice sessions. In addition, a storage basket for the yoga mats and mindfulness materials. We'll provide resources such as books and posters to introduce mindfulness concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.
